Operation Deep Freeze is a yearly event hosted by the vUSAF. ODF simulates the movement of personnel and equipment to Antarctica.
As a CRAF member we have been contracted to carry a combination of passengers, station equipment, scientific equipment and food. Routes will be PHNL-NZCH-PHNL and will be available on the Charter Board. These flights are High Priorty and will be highlighted at the top of the Charter page. The procedure is simple, select the flight from the Charter Board and fly it. Management will take care of the coordination with vUSAF to verify the flight was complete. Your callsign will be "CAMBER", ie. CMB101, rather than of our usual callsign. Flying on VATSIM is Highly Encouraged for the event as it is also sponsored on VATSIM, however it is not a requirement. Please Note: GCVA will provide Pre-Positioning Flights with returns on NOV 20-21, and NOV 23-24.
